PPAG Marked World Contraception Day In Collaboration with Kajaji Health Centre; Students Urge to Prioritise Education.

The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), in collaboration with health professionals from the Kajaji Health Centre of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), has commemorated World Contraception Day in Kajaji, Sene East District, with a call for increased access to contraceptive information, comprehensive reproductive health education and informed decision-making among young people. The celebration, held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, was led by Mr Fidaus Alhassan, PPAG Coordinator for Sene East District, under the theme, “No Barriers, Just Choices: Contraceptive Access Now.” The event brought together students from Kajaji Senior High School and Kajaji Technical Institute, along with health professionals and education sector representatives, to raise awareness of contraception, family planning, and responsible sexual and reproductive health choices.
