In a demonstration of commitment to his campaign promises, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Sene East, Mr. K. Ibrahim, has donated over GH¢80,000 in tools and equipment to support artisans in Kajaji, the district capital. This recent donation, aimed at empowering local tradespeople, includes essential items like sewing machines, hairdryers, cutters, and carpentry tools, providing artisans with the resources they need to grow their trades and improve their livelihoods.

This gesture follows an earlier donation of GH¢50,000 worth of equipment to the Biakoye Association last week, showcasing Mr. Ibrahim's ongoing efforts to uplift various communities within Sene East. Addressing the artisans, Mr. Ibrahim reaffirmed that his support is far from over, promising more resources in the future to further strengthen local economic development.

Although not yet serving as an MP, Mr. Ibrahim expressed his belief that the work he has done so far highlights his commitment to the community. He acknowledged the backing of the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. G. Sampson , and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in securing these donations, noting that such partnerships are vital for the district’s progress. He urged residents to support leaders who can bring tangible development and appealed to the people of Sene East to vote for him as MP and for Dr. Bawumia as president in the upcoming December election.

The event also saw the Constituency Secretary, Mr. Mustapha, encourage the community to support Mr. Ibrahim by voting for him in appreciation for his efforts. He urged the beneficiaries to use the items to their fullest potential and to dedicate themselves to learning their trades to become future masters in their fields.

A former NPP Women’s Organizer madam Angela, also addressed the gathering, advising the community to give their support to the NPP to ensure continued development in Sene East. The ceremony was attended by the DCE, members of the Royal Ladies for NPP, the opinion leaders and other party supporters who witnessed the handover of tools and celebrated the ongoing support to local artisans.

This event marks a significant step toward economic growth and local empowerment, and Mr. Ibrahim reiterated his dedication to building a brighter future for the people of Sene East if elected to office.
